any scholarships for someone that can't afford your membership but really want to learn?

Why is the price so steep? For what reason would you need a full out engineering degree? The rigging industry needs people with hands on experience as well as continued education. No financial aid is offered for this?

Learnt more about wire rope failure in the last hour watching this video then I have in the last year.... I would disagree with the comments on lubrication though, particularly the reference to 'solvent cut back'. Many rope manufactures dissuade against this, given the introduction of a solvent also removes any remaining build lubricant, best going with a solvent free spray or drip feed... otherwise a great video #rsclare 😁

I believe you made a mistake in your calculations at 33:54. 40 degrees would not work if you were trying to reach 110 ft. 105ft boom at 40 degrees is 80 ft from the pivot point of the boom and not the centerline. Even with a straight extension this would not place you at 110ft.

Back in the 80s in Australia when I got my tickets you also had to have dogman and Scaffolder tickets to be an Advanced Rigger . 6 months full time theory and practical training before site work.
